Brotherly love

Best buddies, you can see love in  Noah's smile.

Suppose to be doing school, I went to do laundry, came back to this, so cute I had to grab picture, they didn't even know!

Funny Noah

Noah wanted to sit where Josh was perched behind me while working on school lessons with Josh. So, he took the ruler that was in Josh's hand, gave it a good throw into the kitchen, and said,"Fetch!" in a very serious way. Guess he reasoned if he couldn't get him to move asking him, surely Josh would fall for the fetch trick like Rusty sometimes does! On Friday evening, he wanted Josh to go downstairs and play swimming with him. Josh said he didn't want to play that right now, and in an even more serious voice he asked, "Would you do it for a Scooby snack?" Oh how funny this youngest of ours is! I think almost everyday he does something so witty we can't help laughing at him. He is currently entertaining Zach (who is suppose to be doing schoolwork!), by talking on his cell phone with a two part conversation no less(Noah playing both parts).  His conversation is," (Coughing), person #2 said, "Do you have a cold or something?", Noah said,"No"(coughs again) person #2 said, "Your cough is getting louder!" That's bad!" Noah then says, "Yea love you goodbye" jumps up, runs over to me and grabs my neck, squeezing and saying, "I love you!" Earlier this morning I was reading, he came and asked me a question, I wasn't exactly paying attention, he asked again, same response, and finally very loudly, "DO YOU HAVE A BRAIN IN THERE TO HEAR WITH OR WHAT???!!!" I guess this is from our conversation around the house lately about the brain lapses I have been having and doing and saying crazy things(which I blame on eating milk when I am intolerant of it!) he must have wondered if I even HAVE a brain!!

Remodel of basement bedroom

Didn't think to get one of what room looked like before we removed the furniture. This was Shawn's car/gun room.

And now a bedroom.

Drywall is unfinished in the second bedroom, future project for Shawn.
We have had only 1 worker in our area for a little while, this year when the list came out we had 2. I set to work, work, and more work changing the entire basement around. Shawn's car/ gun room became a second bedroom, the kids toy room became Shawn's area (I'll try to remember to get pictures of that), the previous sitting room became the toy room, and at the end of the previous toy room became a library. I also sorted every book, which no kidding must have been several several hundred. We had the great privilege of having brother workers over the weekend, which ended in disaster for one, with no sleep on a Saturday night of all things! VERY disappointing as now we won't be able to have them. He is allergic to cats, and even though we put our cat out almost 3 years ago, I repainted, put down all different carpet, shampooed upstairs carpet, washed curtains, washed bedclothes, washed walls, repainted stairwell, put carpet on stairwell, still didn't help. I'm at a loss what to do now, so guess we'll have to enjoy from a distance. So sorry C.
